Teach a girl to code and she will fix the gender gap (in tech)

If tech is the future and women are in tech, then women will have an equal chance to shape the future. Equipping and empowering girls to shape their world with technology is a key step we can take for a gender equal future. Girls in technology can and will create new products and new markets that would otherwise go undiscovered and will solve problems our technologies currently fail to address. In her talk, beyond the problem her company, imagiLabs addresses Dora will also introduce how through their solution can make programming fun and relevant for beginners. In addition, Dora will provide insights into how she took the leap from Masters student to founder, and the most important milestones her and her team have achieved to drive their startup forward – from securing their first investment to attending incubators ran by companies such as Apple and Google.
